Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Line Cook role based in the Greater Calgary Metropolitan Area. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking dishes, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and adhering to all food safety standards. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with the kitchen team, managing ingredients and kitchen inventory, plating dishes with precision, and contributing to menu development. The Line Cook will play a key role in delivering a high-quality dining experience for guests.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen equipment
- Knowledge of European culinary traditions and plating standards
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized kitchen in compliance with food safety regulations
- Strong teamwork and communication skills for effective collaboration with kitchen staff
- Experience with time management and working in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Culinary arts training or relevant certifications preferred
- Previous experience in a high-end or fine dining establishment is a plus
