Function Description
At iPS Powerful People, we’re proactively building a pool of skilled offshore Cooks for upcoming projects around the globe. This is not for a specific vacancy, but a campaign to engage with top professionals who are ready to mobilize when the right opportunity arises.
As a Cook onboard offshore vessels, you’ll be responsible for delivering well-balanced meals that meet dietary standards and keep the crew energized and satisfied during operations.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Preparing and serving daily meals for crew and personnel
- Managing food inventory, ordering supplies and minimizing waste
- Ensuring hygiene and food safety standards are strictly followed in the galley
- Catering to dietary restrictions and preferences when required
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and storage areas
- Collaborating with other catering staff and supporting general housekeeping duties when needed
Requirements
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Cook on offshore vessels
- Valid STCW certification
- Valid offshore medical certificate and BOSIET/FOET
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and HACCP procedures
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to work internationally and with multicultural teams
