Please note: This position is based on AMAALA Island, a remote and exclusive destination on the Red Sea. Candidates must be comfortable living and working in a remote island environment.
What We're Looking For:
- Prior experience as a Commis Chef in a luxury hotel or fine dining venue
- A genuine passion for food, cooking, and culinary craftsmanship
- knowledge of kitchen operations, food preparation techniques, and hygiene standards
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak service hours
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, evenings, weekends, and public holidays
- Good English communication skills (Arabic a plus)

Responsibilities Include:
- Assisting in the preparation and cooking of dishes to the highest standards
- Following recipes, portion controls, and presentation guidelines accurately
- Maintaining cleanliness, organization, and hygiene of the kitchen and workstations
- Supporting stock management, mise en place, and kitchen setup
- Handling kitchen tasks and resolving concerns professionally
- Supporting opening and closing duties
