What will you do?
- Lead and inspire the catering operation across event days, non-event days, meetings and events, and tours, driving exceptional guest experiences, operational excellence, and strong external partnerships
- Oversee food and beverage operations to a high standard, ensuring efficient stock management and purchasing to meet financial targets and margins
- Support Heads of Department and team members through recruitment, training, and performance management
- Drive performance through managing budgets, labour costs, quality standards, KPI action plans, and sales opportunities across operations, including tours, meetings, and events
- Ensure the operation complies with current health and safety, food hygiene, fire regulations, licensing laws, and trading standards, adhering to legislations and maintaining Delaware North’s policies and standards of excellence
More About You
- Further education qualification in Catering, or relevant Business degree
- Experience in high volume and quality food operations, with a strong understanding of catering facilities
- Experience managing meetings and events sales or tours programmes
- 2+ years’ experience managing three or more senior managers is beneficial
- 3+ years’ financial accountability for a large single site or several smaller sites is beneficial
