Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Catering Sales Manager role based in Singapore. The Catering Sales Manager will generate, negotiate, and manage catering and event sales for social, corporate, and group clients, from initial inquiry through event execution. Responsibilities include proactively prospecting new business, responding to leads, preparing proposals and contracts, and conducting site inspections with potential clients. The role will collaborate closely with the events, food and beverage, and operations teams to design menus, coordinate event logistics, and ensure seamless delivery on the day of the event. The Catering Sales Manager will also track revenue performance, maintain accurate records in sales systems, and nurture long-term client relationships to support repeat and referral business.
Qualifications
- Strong customer-facing skills, including Customer Service and a commitment to Customer Satisfaction.
- Proven experience in Catering Sales within hospitality, events, or Food & Beverage environments.
- Event Planning skills to coordinate logistics, timelines, and vendor or internal stakeholder communication.
- Working knowledge of Food & Beverage operations and menus to support accurate proposals and client recommendations.
- Relevant experience in hotel or venue sales; prior work in lifestyle or luxury properties is an advantage.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities, with attention to detail and the capacity to handle multiple events simultaneously.
- Proficiency with sales or CRM systems and basic office software (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, based on event and client needs.
