Who we are looking for
we are seeking an exceptional Catering Manager to join our team and lead the full catering and banquet experience — from concept to execution. This is a senior, client-facing role for a hospitality professional who is as comfortable managing a high-volume events , or building lasting relationships with corporate and private clientele.

The Role
- Drive banquet and catering sales
- Work directly with our sales and operations team to design and plan all aspects of the catering portion of our events
- Oversee the end-to-end planning and operational delivery of large-scale banquets and catered events, ensuring flawless F&B execution.
- Manage, schedule, and mentor the food and beverage service team for catering and event functions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with the kitchen, logistics, and operations teams to ensure seamless event delivery.
- Develop and maintain catering budgets; report on performance metrics to senior leadership.
- Uphold La Nesra’s standards of quality, presentation, and hospitality at every touchpoint.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 5-6 years of experience in catering management, banquet sales, or F&B leadership — ideally within a hotel, convention centre, or high-volume event venue.
- Demonstrated success in catering or hospitality sales, with a measurable track record of meeting and exceeding revenue targets.
- Deep knowledge of banquet operations, menu planning, food costing, staffing and large-scale event logistics.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills — polished, persuasive, and client-confident in both English and French.
- Fully bilingual (English/French), written and spoken; essential for serving our Montréal clientele.
- Agile and solutions-oriented under pressure, with a calm and organized approach to managing complex, multi-stakeholder events.
