About the Club

Located on the Adelaide sand belt and established in 1923, the Kooyonga Golf Club is recognised internationally as one of Australia’s leading championship courses and private golf clubs having hosted five men’s Australian Opens, two women’s Australian Opens and many other State and National golf events.  

Our hospitality team provides food and beverage services of the highest standard to members and their guests. We operate a Members’ Bar, private a la carte dining for members and a state-of-the-art function area for corporate events, weddings and private functions.

About the Role

Kooyonga Golf Club seeks to engage a dedicated and enthusiastic Hospitality Supervisor to oversee the seamless delivery of our hospitality to members and visitors.

Reporting to the Bar Manager, this role offers an exciting opportunity to assist in the management of the day-to-day function operations, ensuring our members and visitors enjoy exceptional experiences at our beautiful club, specifically with executing excellence in member hospitality through our Members’ Bar. 

About You

  • Highly motivated, energetic and engaged with a passion for delivering excellent service and creating memorable events
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar hospitality role. Previous experience in events is required
  • Strong organisational skills with a particular eye for attention to detail
  • Exceptionally strong written and verbal communication and facilitation skills
  • An ability to prioritise workload, manage time and schedule tasks whilst remaining resilient to changing priorities
  • Extensive food and beverage knowledge and sequences of service for functions
  • A current RSA certificate and RP badge is required.
  • Available to work over a 7 day roster which includes weekends and nights (set days may be negotiated)
  • Leadership and management skills with the ability to train, motivate and coordinate all members of the hospitality team
  • Capable of lifting and spending long periods on your feet
