General Responsibilities
–Lead the delivery of campus soft services, including custodial, cafeteria, front-of-house, and event support, ensuring a seamless campus experience.
–Ensure alignment of campus services with the university's academic and student experience objectives.
–Represent Campus Services across university operations and major campus events with professionalism and a strong service-oriented mindset.
–Drive service excellence and continuous improvement across all campus service areas.
Strategic Responsibilities
–Develop and oversee the campus services delivery model to ensure day-one readiness and long-term efficiency.
–Develop the operational approach for campus events, performances, exhibitions, screenings, and ceremonies in coordination with relevant university functions.
–Establish structured service frameworks, including SLAs, SOPs, KPIs, and performance monitoring mechanisms.
–Manage strategic vendor relationships to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery.
–Define and monitor KPIs across service performance, user satisfaction, operational efficiency, event readiness, and SLA compliance.
–Establish reporting frameworks covering service performance, space utilization and booking, user experience trends, event readiness, and compliance.
–Identify and plan future campus services as operational requirements evolve (e.g., transportation services, faculty and student housing).
–Drive digital service initiatives to enhance service delivery and user experience.
–Ensure compliance with health, safety, and institutional policies.
Operational Responsibilities
–Provide oversight of campus soft services, hospitality services, venue operations, and event support.
–Review operational performance and implement corrective actions where required.
–Support planning and execution of major university events to ensure operational readiness.
–Coordinate service delivery with Facilities Management functions, Security, Academic Operations, Student Affairs, and Shared Services.
-Review vendor performance and resolve escalated operational issues.
Industry Experience
–10–15 years of experience in facilities, campus services, hospitality, or related operational environments.
–Experience leading custodial, catering, front-of-house, venue management, and event support services in large-scale environments.
–Strong understanding of integrated service delivery models, vendor-managed operations, and campus event planning.
Management capabilities
–Experience managing vendors and multidisciplinary service teams.
–Ability to coordinate campus services and events.
–Strong understanding of service quality monitoring and operational reporting.
–Strong operational management skills.
