About the role
As Manager at Ivan's Cafe, you'll play a vital role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our newly renovated cafe in Braeside. This is a great opportunity to lead a dedicated team and help drive the ongoing success of a much-loved local establishment.
What you'll be doing
- Manage all cafe operations, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and customer service.
- Ensure high standards of food quality, presentation, and customer satisfaction.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales, improve efficiency, and enhance the overall customer experience.
- Foster a positive, collaborative team environment and provide coaching and support to cafe staff.
- Monitor and report on key performance metrics to inform continuous business improvements.
- Collaborate with the wider Ivan's Pies team to align cafe operations with the company's overall vision and objectives.
What we're looking for
- Proven experience in a similar cafe or hospitality management role.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent customer service orientation and a passion for creating memorable dining experiences.
- Culinary skills highly regarded, with the ability to assist in food preparation.
- Proficient in inventory management, cost control, and financial reporting.
- Adaptable and skilled at problem-solving, with the ability to think creatively and make data-driven decisions.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with various stakeholders.
