Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site position for a Breakfast Attendant at the University of Utah, located in Salt Lake City, UT. The Breakfast Attendant will be responsible for preparing and serving breakfast to guests, maintaining cleanliness and organization of the dining area, restocking supplies, and attending to guest needs. Additional tasks include ensuring food safety and hygiene standards, collaborating with other staff to provide excellent customer service, and assisting in set-up and takedown of the breakfast area as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience in food preparation, serving, and knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
- Strong customer service skills and ability to provide a welcoming guest experience
- Organizational and multitasking skills to manage setup, restocking, and cleaning efficiently
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with staff and guests
- Time management skills and the ability to work early morning shifts
- Previous experience in a hospitality-related role is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
