Position: Barback for Live Nation
Become a key player at HISTORY Ottawa as a Barback with Live Nation Entertainment. Support live events by stocking and maintaining the bar area while providing exceptional service to guests.
Live Nation is seeking a Barback to join the dynamic team at its state-of-the-art venue, HISTORY Ottawa. This role requires 1-2 years of experience in a high-volume bar setting, along with Smart Serve certification. You’ll handle various duties from stocking ice and beverages to ensuring the bar area meets high hospitality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Stock ice bins, beverages, and liquor as required
• Perform opening and closing duties for bar readiness
• Rotate and store stock correctly, report spoilage
• Maintain cleanliness of back-of-house areas
• Assist bartenders and servers by anticipating needs
Requirements:
• Smart Serve Certified and minimum 19 years old
• 1-2 years experience in a busy bar environment
• Knowledge of spirits, wines, and beers
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
