Role Description

The Bar Captain at Al Manzil Hotel is responsible for supervising the daily operations of the bar, ensuring a high standard of service, and delivering an exceptional guest experience. Key responsibilities include managing staff, taking and serving orders, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the bar area, training team members, and implementing effective sales strategies. The Bar Captain will also address guest inquiries, monitor inventory, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. This is a full-time, on-site role based at our Manama location.

Qualifications

  • Strong customer service and communication skills to ensure high-quality service and guest satisfaction
  • Comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience in Food & Beverage services, with a focus on bar operations
  • Ability to train and mentor staff to maintain service excellence
  • Sales skills with a proactive approach to achieving revenue targets and upselling opportunities
  • Proven organizational and leadership skills to manage a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and commitment to ensuring cleanliness and adherence to health and safety standards
  • Fluency in English, and familiarity with Arabic is an advantage
  • Previous experience in a similar hospitality or bar management position is preferred
