Position: Banquet Server – Full & part-time
Job Responsibilities
- Serve guests in a professional, efficient, and courteous manner.
- Prepare specified areas for food and beverage service according to company standards, including guest rooms, conference rooms, buffets, and dining rooms, within an agreed upon time frame.
- Maintain general knowledge of the menu, wine list, and all hotel facilities/services to answer guest inquiries appropriately.
- Deliver the absolute highest quality of food, beverage, atmosphere, and service.
- Quickly address, resolve, and report any complaints or negative situations, ensuring guests leave with a positive experience and are likely to return.
- Complete side work promptly and in accordance with standards.
- Promote and maintain strong lines of communication and teamwork between dining room, kitchen, and all other departments interacting with Food & Beverage.
- Maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and appearance in accordance with Dress Code Standards for uniformed associates.
- Assist other associates with their job functions to ensure optimum service to guests.
- Foster and promote a cooperative working climate, maximizing productivity and employee morale.
- Perform all job functions, special projects, and tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Someone with 2-4 years of food service experience, preferably Banquet service
- Someone with experience in a 4-star, 5-star venue with synchronized service
- Someone with knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits
- Someone who is able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Someone with a passion for creating an exceptional experience for all guests
- Someone with excellent communication skills

Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
