Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Banquet Manager to oversee all banquet and event operations, ensuring seamless execution of events while delivering exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate must possess strong leadership, event management, and operational skills, along with mandatory experience in Food & Beverage (F&B) operations. The role requires close coordination with clients, kitchen, service teams, and other departments to ensure successful event delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise banquet functions, weddings, corporate events, and social gatherings.

• Ensure smooth execution of all events by coordinating with F&B, kitchen, housekeeping, and other operational teams.

• Lead, train, and motivate the banquet service team to maintain the highest standards of hospitality and guest service.

• Meet with clients to understand event requirements and ensure all arrangements are executed as agreed.

• Oversee banquet setup, service, and breakdown while maintaining quality and operational standards.

• Monitor food and beverage service to ensure timely delivery, presentation, and guest satisfaction.

• Manage banquet scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation for efficient event operations.

• Ensure compliance with hygiene, food safety, and health & safety regulations.

• Monitor banquet inventory, equipment, and supplies while controlling operational costs and minimizing wastage.

• Handle guest feedback and resolve service-related issues promptly and professionally.

• Coordinate with the sales and events team to maximize banquet revenue and enhance guest experiences.

• Prepare operational reports, event summaries, and performance reviews as required.

Exeperience Required

5–6 years of experience in Banquet Operations with mandatory experience in Food & Beverage (F&B) operations.

• Experience in reputed 5-star hotels, luxury clubs, premium hospitality establishments, or banquet venues is preferred.

• Proven experience in managing large-scale events, conferences, weddings, and corporate functions.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of banquet operations and event management.

Mandatory understanding of Food & Beverage service standards and operations.

• Excellent leadership, team management, and staff development skills.

• Strong guest relationship management and customer service orientation.

• Excellent communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

• Knowledge of banquet budgeting, inventory management, and cost control.

• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.

• Proficiency in MS Office and banquet/event management systems is an added advantage.

Educational Qualification

  • Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management / Hospitality Management.
  • Certifications in Hospitality, Banquet Management, or Food & Beverage Operations will be an added advantage.

Preferred Candidates

  • Candidates with experience in 5-star hotels, luxury clubs, premium banquet venues, resorts, or renowned hospitality brands, along with mandatory Food & Beverage operations experience, will be given preference.
