Trump International Hotel & Tower® Chicago is seeking an experienced and passionate Assistant Director of Food & Beverage to join our luxury hospitality leadership team.
This role is responsible for delivering an unparalleled guest, member, and resident experience while overseeing key Food & Beverage operations including Terrace 16, Banquet Operations, Rebar, Room Service, Bars, and Kitchen operations. The ideal candidate is a dynamic leader with a strong luxury hospitality background, operational expertise, and a commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day Food & Beverage operations across multiple outlets
- Manage daily operations of Terrace 16
- Lead and support department heads through coaching, development, and performance management
- Drive profitability, guest satisfaction, and associate engagement
- Ensure compliance with Trump Hotels quality standards and service procedures
- Conduct property and F&B inspections to maintain operational excellence
- Support recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and associate development initiatives
- Handle guest concerns and maintain a strong floor presence during high-volume periods
- Assist with execution of property CapEx projects and strategic initiatives
Qualifications
- 4+ years of Food & Beverage experience, including 2 years at Department Head level
- Luxury hotel experience preferred, including four-star/four-diamond or five-star properties
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple departments and projects in a fast-paced environment
- Food Service Sanitation Certification required
- Alcohol Service Permit required if applicable by state law
- Four-year college degree preferred
