About the role:
This is an awesome opportunity to work in our bowling alley
– Bowl and Social – which has the best bowling technology available in New Zealand, a 35m outdoor balcony overlooking the spectacular Waikato River, with great food and beverage offerings, your amazing customer service skills will help continue to make Bowl & Social a huge success.
In this position your substantive role will be that of a Fun Ambassador providing the prompt, friendly service Sky City is famous for. As and when required, you will act up into a Duty Manager position in which you will lead the team during your shift. When acting up into the Duty Manager role you will be remunerated at a higher hourly rate.
You will also;
- Assist customers making bookings and getting them set up on the bowling lanes
- Take food and beverage orders and accept payment
- Prepare and deliver drinks
- Assist with restocking and keeping the bars and bowling alley looking spic and span
This is a Part Time opportunity, working approx 10 – 12 hours each week. Weekend availability is essential for this position and preference will be given to applicants who are flexible in their availability.
It’ll be your winning attitude, excellent customer service skills, and ability to work under pressure which will make you a great fit for Sky City.
To be successful in this role, you will also;
- Have fantastic interpersonal skills and be a confident and clear communicator
- Be well presented with a high level of professionalism
- Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to work a variety of shifts including Friday and Saturday nights
- Be 20 years old or over due to licensing requirements accessing age-restricted areas
- A Managers Certificate or LCQ is advantageous but not essential
