Our client, an international law firm, is seeking a contract Administrative Assistant to support their Diversity & Community initiatives. The qualified candidate must have law firm or professional servcies event coordination experience. This is an immediate need to help the team prepare for a series of upcoming Heritage Month events.

In addition to event planning experience, the qualifed applicant will have strong administrative support background. This hire will play a key role in helping with planning and execution, including logistics coordination, ordering catering, setting up invitations, managing attendance lists, and providing on-site support during events. Some overtime may be required.

This contract position will start ASAP and last through two to five months.

Administrative Event Support

  • Coordinating logistics, including communicating with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure events run smoothly.
  • Coordinate client events, small‑group dinners, reservations, ticketing, and off‑site event logistics from planning through execution.
  • Contribute ideas for engaging high‑impact community and diversity events.
  • Manage correspondence between colleagues, vendors, and clients.
  • Prepare documents, maintain spreadsheets, and support timekeeping entries for attorneys.
  • Adapt to shifting priorities; responsibilities may change frequently based on business needs.
