Role Description
These are all on-site, full-time Chef positions located in Victoria, BC (Langford, BC). Our Chef roles involve preparing exceptional dishes for catering events and in-house service, ensuring consistent quality and presentation. Responsibilities include ingredient preparation, menu planning in collaboration with the culinary team, adherence to food safety standards, and actively contributing to a cohesive kitchen environment. Chefs will also assist in creating seasonal menus for special events and supporting hands-on cooking classes when required. Currently seeking chefs with minimum 3 years experience working in a commercial kitchen.
Qualifications
- Professional culinary skills including food preparation, cooking techniques, and plating
- Experience in menu development and creating seasonal, high-quality dishes
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and industry-best practices
- Strong teamwork and communication skills to foster a collaborative kitchen environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and time management
- Creativity and passion for delivering high-quality culinary experiences
- Previous experience in catering or working in a high-end kitchen is a strong asset
- Culinary certification or equivalent work experience preferred
